Alma Milano Company was born in 2014 in Milan Italy, with a global prospective.

We strongly believe that handbags should bring happiness to the holder’s life, which is why we only use high-quality materials.

Our slogan is "Honesty in Work".

For every bag, we use genuine Italian leather. Every piece of leather is special in its color and thickness, they are as unique as fingerprints, which gives each bag its own personality.

We love things that are functional, simple and beautiful.

As designers, we get our inspiration from all kinds of art, especially from the clarity that minimalism has to offer. We love creating handbags with pure lines, clean shapes and sharp colors.
We pay close attention to craftsmanship and design, careful to balance our sense of idealism with a down-to-earth attitude.

As designers and artisan our goal is to educate people to understand and love the work behind these handmade bags, so we pay strong attention to details.

Our work starts in Milan in our design studio. we design and make the bags here in Milan. but still, all the materials come from Florence. we believe that high-quality leather burns in Tuscany so we just use Tuscany vegetable tanned leather.

 

Our products are made of Vegtabel Tanned leather

The leather we use is “Pelle concrete al vegetale “. And let me explain it. 
Vegetable tanning is an artisan tradition that the Tuscan tanneries have handed down from father to son for centuries, mixing antique recipes and state-of-the-art technology.
The transformation from raw hides into a material that will resist throughout time is a process that slowly happens into wooden drums, in full respect of man and the environment. An astonishing process based on the use of natural tannins extracted from trees, on modern technologies and machinery and on the slow passing of time. 
Among the various tanning methods, the vegetable tanning is still nowadays the most traditional, the most recognizable, the only one able to give leather unique characteristics. It is able to join comfort and look, fashion and tradition, uniqueness and versatility of the product.
